About F+F

The Trifecta

The experiences Sarah gained professionally as a Physical Therapist, her personal journey with yoga, and her own medical recovery from spinal surgery shaped the mission for Function+Flow. Sarah has always been a leader in movement, through sports, yoga, PT, or her hobbies. Working in the home health setting garnered her confidence to model F+F into a concierge service. The key to ultimate success is enjoyment. Prioritizing comfort and joy with exercise, including the mental and emotional impact, yoga provides a holistic approach to movement. Pairing that with support and accountability through community programs will ensure you have motivation for each phase of your journey.

ATX

Research has also consistently demonstrated the remarkable benefits of nature. Spending time outdoors has been linked to reduced levels of depression and improved mood (Stanford University). Whether it's a gentle stroll on the boardwalk at Lady Bird Lake or a rigorous hike in the Guadalupe mountains, immersing yourself in natural surroundings complements the clinical aspects of exercise, fostering a sense of connection and balance in your fitness journey.

Austin has many options for keeping active in all the seasons. The city has plenty of trails for walking, hiking, biking, or running. There are swimming holes to cool off in the hot summer. There are endless parks, classes, and community events around town to get your exercise in and meet some new people!
